 What is a care mattress / incontinence mattress?

An incontinence mattress is a watertight mattress that cannot absorb moisture. The mattress has a waterproof mattress cover instead of a cover that protects the mattress against urine, perspiration and other moisture. The waterproof mattress protector is equipped with a zipper so that it is removable and can possibly be washed. The mattress protector cannot penetrate any moisture into the mattress. The moisture can easily be removed from the mattress with a cloth.

 

Breathable:

While the liquid cannot penetrate the waterproof mattress protector, the mattress cover is breathable. This is because the waterproof mattress protector is made of a material that is provided with micro pores. Air can therefore enter and leave the mattress.

Dust mite Werend:

After a while, more than a million house dust mites often live in an ordinary mattress. The dust mites cannot penetrate the pores of the waterproof mattress protector. So a care mattress remains free of dust mites.
